One of the best ways to experience culinary tourism at its best is to visit the website of Traveling Spoon. Meanwhile, Traveling Spoon won the Tour Innovator award at the 2024 Arival & TourReview Spotlight Awards.

The category celebrates tour operators who demonstrate innovative approaches and offer creative itineraries, setting them apart from traditional offerings. Traveling Spoon was founded in 2013 to connect travelers and foodies to private food experiences including everything from home-cooked meals to cooking lessons with personally vetted hosts.

Meanwhile, this also provides income for food producers around the globe by connecting travelers directly with hosts. This method ensures that each host receives the majority of the tourism dollar. Moreover, Traveling Spoon has launched 150 online cooking classes led by home cooks, along with producer tours and outdoor experiences.
